01 Offer to open
a bank account

The customer accepts an offer made by the bank.

02 The Relying Party
needs to identify the user

The user logs into his secure SSI wallet.

03 Open User Wallet with Verifiable Credentials

The user selects the Verifiable Credential which contains the required ID data, in this case the National ID Card.

04 Select Verifiable Credential

The user transfers the Verifiable Credential to the Relying Party.

05 Authorize the Transfer of Identity Data

The user authorizes the transmission of his identity data to the relying party. By entering his PIN the private key stored on the secure server of the PSMP is activated and the message including the Verifiable Credential is signed.

06 Successful Validation
of ID Data

The relying party checks whether the signature is correct and validates the Verifiable Credential.

The successful validation is confirmed to the user.
